starter under 10 pounds for university

Ok at university we are building a small 3 wheeled car for a super millage competition. ( gas millage ) anyway the motor is a small 3.5 HP briggs & straton ( he have to use it as a base ) but we plan on putting to use a wipper sniper motor sort of in it. ( minus the case.

Anyway the samllest starter motor we could find is a 10 pound starter.

Where can I find something really small ( light ) it will unly turn a 31cc motor. I looked at atv's lawn mowers but nothing it under that. all 8-11 pounds.

    Please help

    Cool

My friend has a tiny snowblower in his garage with an electric start. Couldn't be any more than 50cc.

Well, that probably didn't help you, just thought I'd share.

We have to use the 3.5HP briggs & straton motor. But we can modify it anyway we want. We can do like 400Miles/gallon.
And we only get 500ml for a 15 mile run. then they weight your tank.
