I have a 2000 model 400ex frame with a clear title. The frame comes with an oil cooler, bent anti vibe stem, wiring harness(do not know if it is functional anymore), and sub frame.
The frame is in decent shape. It looks bad, and needs a good powder coating or painting. The frame is gusseted by the shock mounts. I never noticed until I took the bike apart but I guess the guy who welded the gussets in melted through the inside of the tube on one of the gussets. No big deal, I rode it like that forever. The footpeg mounts and brushgaurd mounts are driled out in order to put stronger bolts all the way through. Works well did the same thing to my 04ex. The bottom of the frame is scrathed and dented in the middle but does not affect performance at all. Trying to be honest on the frame. It will make a good frame for someone.
I am the second owner of the quad the frame came from, and the frame comes with a title!!
