Patton was behind Ellis in second, but just didn't seem to be riding as well as he could. He had a couple bad crashes in Texas last week where he hurt his wrist. It may have been bothering him tonight.. He did hang onto third to make the Show.

Cody Smith after his crash in the first start came back to get second, securing himself a spot in the main..

Danny Ragan seem to be having some problems, he was another one that would have to go to the LCQ to try and make the SHOW.

Q5 Lawson, Gust, Fredericks, Lyons, Schell and McClure

Another great start. Lawson was on the inside lane with Gust next to him. Gust got squeezed out in the first corner.

Jeremy Schell took advantage of this and got the holeshot with McClure right behind.

Gust was in third behind McClure but not for long. Before the end of the first lap McClure goes down and Gust passes Schell. This is a very short track and things happen fast.

Schell is now chasing Gust and Lyons is in third. Lawson has fallen back to fifth.
