    What was the first year for 400EX?

    I thought it was 1998 but honda lists it as 99 in their ATV history? was it a 99 model but released in 98?

    yep it was??

    Im confused when I look at classifieds and see 1998 honda 400EX.. wouldnt they list it as a 99 if thats what it is?

    there was no 98 model 400ex. There were 99's that were relised late in 98. Those are the 400ex's that you are thinking of. 99 was the first year 400ex.

    In the cycle trader they go back as far as 1992
    2004 YFZ 450

    yep 99 was the first year, hell 300exs didnt even come untill 93 let alone the 400
