Use a socket the same diameter as the outer edge of the bearing.Sit the socket on top the bearing, and tap the socket to drive the bearing in.I'd put a thin layer of grease on the bearings outer edge first.
yep, the socket trick works for me

we've been doing that. it seems its hit a point and doesnt wanna go. we used a 2x4 too and it still wont budge. my pops got a c clamp and tried popping it in but it wont go either. which way should of we put the bearings in, through the top, or flipping the frame and putting them in that way.
thanks everyone

Put the bearing in the freezer for a few hours and let it get cold. It'll make it easier

ditch the rubber mallet. i use a 5 pound hammer, a large socket and a long extension fit into the inverted socket. one slight tap and it usually slides all the way in. the bearing goes in from the top of the frame
