Right now I'm going to be putting a 15 up front and stock size in the back ( sorry dont know the size of the rear spocket off the top of my head). For mx I usually use a 16 front and stock rear with 18inch tires.

    gearing

My 440 will pull 15/36 gearing well(stock is 15/38). On the MX track it does good and it is still able to pull well on Competition Hill at Dumont.

Tc 426 13:1 piston, tc ported head, tc mx cam, lightend flywheel, sparks pipe, fcr 41mm, carillo rod and a full hinson clutch.

Also used the same gearing on my 440 with 11:1 piston, ported head with over sized intake valves, web 479 grind cam, shortend valve guides heavy duty valve springs, hardend rockers. With a 39mm fcr carb and also a sparks pipe.

    Hey Kyle,

Ive been thinking of going to a 16t up front to try but I really dont see how it would fit with a case saver. My 15t is hard to install with my Nac's case saver. Im sure you wouldnt be running without a case saver, so does it fit or did you shave yours down some?

My baldwin case saver worked fine. You could always grind some off where yours dont fit.

15/36 works pretty good too. I like the 16/38 cause it revs out a little longer though.
