    damn plug

    whats the easiest way to get the damn thing out? i have had a hard time before...i wheelied the tool kit off so i need to know what i can use to get it out. not much fits in there....
    help a girl out

    All you need is a 5/8 socket. It isn't anything special. DUH!

    A 5/8's socket won't work. The wall thickness of the socket is too much to allow access onto the plug. The only tool I've found that works correctly is the plug socket that comes in any Honda tool kit.

    yeah i use the tool from honda and put a socket over that with a ratchet and take it off that way, its alot easier than usin a little handle...dont think you can use anything else...find a buddy with a 400 thats got that tool and barrow it when you need it

    Craftsman makes a thin walled deep 18mm socket that works

    Go to sears and buy a thin walled socket or stop at your local honda shop and you can order the origanal

    You can buy the socket in rockymountainatv. I just took an old socket and ground down the outside of it, works like a charm now.
