did you adjust your valves to the specs of the new cam?

It's faster now then when I bought it!
the piston will make the noise until it warms up and expands in the cylinder, its normal.
the hot cam will also make a ticking noise at all times even after the valves are adjusted right, they are just louder than stock cams.
how loud is this. if it's pretty loud it could be that ur timing is a little off. mine was off enough that the valves were hitting the piston, and the timing was correct. i found that my timing chain was stretched enough that the timing was off. so this could be the prob.... or valves need tightening
