    starting help

    when i go to start my wheeler, most of the time it just makes this spinning noise like the gears in there aren't catching. most of the time i have to jump start it. can anyone help. the gear that can you can just see the corner of when you take the cover off your starter moves side to side. i dont know if that has anything to do with it. HELP.

    when you say jump start it do you mean jump it off another battery or push it and pop the clutch?
    if you mean you have to jump it off another battery then its your battery going out and not charging back up all the time. install a new batterry and it will solve the problem.
    that gear is supposed to move side to side some.
    if you are talking about having to push start it then it is the starter clutch going out.
    but i think it is more than likely the battery goin bad.
