I have a 2001 400ex with a 250R swingarm on it. I had Pro Fab ATV build it for me and they put the 400ex linkage and suspension on the 250R swinger, I could not be more happy with the set up and yes it is the same as a 1 1/4 add. I have yet to find someone that is able to ride a wheely thru the gears on my bike, and it's easy on any stock 400 swinger.

    So yes they will fit
