    ?Dumb question

    If someone has a 416ex what was done to it? It is a 400ex bored out?

    (I'm not the sharpest sprocket in the garage.)

    actually i dont think it means it is bored i think it is re-sleeved. The only dumb question is one that isnt asked.

    2nd bore on the stock sleeve

    It isnt bored out . its only sleeved and has a biger piston
    Actually it is just a straight bore, no sleeving required. I belive it is an 87mm piston. You can go up to a 426, or 88mm piston on the stock sleeve. After that it requires sleeving to go up to a 440.

    yes 416 is bored .80 on stock sleeve, 426 is bored .120 on stock sleeve
