    i think what the guys tryin to say is that you can ruin a gasket if you pressure wash it to close, it can tear. I dont think you can get enough water in the cylinder though to where it can get hydraulic lock and just bend the rod though (not saying it wont happen).

    A bucket of soapy water, some wash mits and a garden hose work for me. Once you're finished give all of the metal parts a coat of wd-40 and your plastics a coat of armor all (don't forget to wipe it in) to help keep things looking nice as well as prevent rusting. The key to keeping your machine looking good is wash and detail it after every ride, don't let that mud and crud build up.

    What are you using SOS pods on?? They'll scratch the hell out of your machine if you're using them in the wrong places (ie plastic).
