    last i had heard you were looking into the heavier flywheel, did anything become of that? i finally spent some good time in the woods with mine. we used 14/39 gearing and a stage2 hot cam. the bike worked great down low and still pulled awsome up top.

    I'm a little bit surprised by the CDI results. I've tested myself with Dyna FS CDI on YFZ and had same results : more top speed but no power gain, maybe a little lost.

    So my conclusion is : buy cheapest CDI wit curve that is close to stock curve and higher rev limit.

    Seems like CDI manufacturers can't create beter curves than OEM.
