okay, im completely rebuilding my '87 motor over the winter and want to put 88-89 parts on it, but on service honda the counterbalancer for the 86-87's have different part numbers than the 88-89's do. my only concern is that the gear on the 88-89 balancer has a different ratio to the primary drive gear than the 86-87's (causing a big problem). I just need to know if it will work, I'm pretty sure it will but just making sure. please help!
