250R front end help wheel offsets!!

hey guys, whats up.... about to start putting together my 250R. I have a new Leager frame with the narrow front end. i had already purchased houser +3+1 long travel a arms. I know that the frame is 2 inches narrower in the front than a stock 250r frame. I called up balwin and asked them what wheel offset i need to make it 50 inches... i think he said i would have to run a 3+2 but it wont come to a full 50 inches..... he said your supposed to get +4 a arms and 4+1 rims to make it 50 inches with that frame..... does this sound right?? i think he said I would be around 48 1/2 inches... thanx guys

maybe with 2:3 offset..... but the more you do that with the rims, the more the bumpsteer will increase.

The rules state that you can't go over 50 inches, that doesn't mean that you can't run the quad at 48. Your setup should do alright it just won't turn as well as a + 4 with 4-1 wheels. But if you've never ridden a + 4 then you'll more than likely love your + 3. Hope this helps.

Gimp---- no i never have ridden the leager frame with +4 setup... i have had numerous stock frames R's with just the regular +2 a arms....... Im guessing my +3 setup will be better than that?? also...... do you think 1 1/2 inches would make a huge difference?? thanx for the help.
