    #40 Pilot Jet

I purchased a Pilot jet #40 From this shop and it is longer than the #38 I have. It seems to be running a little lean on low end. I just put in a #162 on the pilot.

I just purchased a #40 pilot last week and put it in shortly thereafter, the #40 is longer than the #38, but that is normal, nothing to worry about.

I would also recommend lowering your main a size or two when you change the pilot, chances are that you are running too rich on the high as well. JMHO
