Some Questions..

I just moved up from racing a Blaster and picked up a 250R. I had a few questions about some general stuff...

What from the 450R fits it?
What gearing is everyone running for MX?
What type of filter do you prefer?
What kind of premix are you running?

450r front shocks fit, tires/rims (same bolt pattern) ummmm why would u want to put 450r parts on it anyways?


for the gearing on my old 250r i ran 14/38 with 18 inch tires.

I run a K& N filter with outerware, and i premix klotz synthetic oil in the klotz 113 race gas. On the shocks if you are going to seriously MX i would go aftermarket shocks and not worry about the 450r shocks.

Its got Works Triple Rates w/ Remote Rezzies, I was just asking about the 450 parts because they would be good backup parts incase something breaks at the track. Last year I blew my shocks twice and didn't have anything to replace them with.

thats when u were running a blaster tho...prolly stock shocks i guess...blasters arent exactly the MX running quad...they are real short and have close to no travel....it wont be as easy to blow shocks on ur 250R so i doubt u will need the back up shocks

I have a Trinity 310 kit and for gearing i am running 14/37 on 18" tires and it works great. I prefer a K&N filter w/ precharger, and for premix I run Maxima K2 w/race gas at 32:1. hope this helps!

hey i have a 1986 265r i run motul at 40:1 with race gas and i run a K&N with outerware.
