After getting highsided and stuck Mussi was off the pace. Finally giving in to thumb fatigue he was out of contention. No matter, this outstanding young rider posseses skills that will get him on the podium soon!

Lap after lap, Cody Hill just kept coming. Fowler was out of his reach by lap 13 but he earned his 2nd place finish and we are all very proud of him.

EXR: What did you think when you found out you would be able to race in a GNCC?
Cody Hill: "I thought it was great that the kids would get a chance to race on the national level. I was just happy to be part of it".
EXR: How was the track and did the weather affect you?
Cody Hill: " the track was slick. There was some ruff spots and the weather just made me feel like i weighed 500 pounds! I think they did a good job on the track, I just wish it was longer"
EXR: You got a pretty bad start, how did that change your race stratagy?
Cody Hill: " It stunk! I couldnt battle for the lead or pressure the leader until I went past 2 classes of riders. "
EXR: Is there anyone you would like to thank?
Cody Hill: " I would like to thank everyone from the Quadshop, Traci Cecco and Chris Borich for being there at the start of the race. Also a big thanks to GT Thunder's MR. Laz for giving me the extra power I needed to get up front."
EXR: What are your plans for next season?
Cody Hill: " Ride Ride and Ride". This year was a learning year for me. Next season I expect more from me.
Cody is 11 years old and has been racing quads for almost a year. He has several top 5 finishes in his local series, 1 win in an NQRA race and now a 2nd in the GNCC race. He is a straight A student in Hedgesville Middle School.
