My steering shaft moves up and down when i pull on it. HELP!!!

My steering shaft moves up and down when i pull my handlebars. I noticed when I land from a jump. I could hear and feel it. I thought maybe the nut on the bottom was loose. But it was torqued perfectly. Could it be just a worn out bearing at the bottom? I havent looked at that yet because i want to buy the seals nad bearing before I tear it apart(I dont wanna miss any ride time). If I ride it like this is it going to come apart or hurt anything?

Im thinking you crushed the bearing, or it is totally shot,, cheap fix,, but hondas dumb design makes you take off the whole stem ..:devil

Ya might just need to tighten the nut that holds the post in place,,I beleive a cotter pin should be in there..
