Web Cams now valve tick?

I am looking into buying a KFX with hotcams and the guy I'm buying it from says that after he put in the web cams that the engine makes a quiet ticking sound at idle. The cams were installed at the dealer along with a JE 13.5-1 piston. The dealer says that this sound is normal. I listened to it over the phone and didn't hear anything. He also says that all 400ex's tick so I really don't know. I am inclined to believe the guy and will prolly buy it anyway, but please let me know.

when you install an aftermarket cam their will be a different valve noise, yes the 400 does the same thing...
