i really love the 250r and its an awesome quad. I found a 250r that needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. I would make it a full blown racer. But im wondering, is it still worth it?

Do a search on ebay for what 250Rs are going for now. As long as you are going to use it for yourself they are great,But if you want to get your money back when reselling it ,,,Good luck. The prices have really dropped off for the old 250s. I have seen good condition 89s barely reach 2500$ on ebay.
2006 LTR450 Almost stock and love it.
hell yeah they are still worth it, but if your going to build one do it right, if your going to run a stock frame, your better be a good welder, if you can swing it just build an aftermarket r, they are still competitive with the new fourstrokers!!!!
they are still the baddest.
go for it, definately try to build a R with a aftermarket frame though!!
heres mine
