    is taking apart a........

    400ex hard? like stripping it down to the frame?


    ( sry this is in open, didnt know where to put it)

    not realy....just make sure you put all the bolts that go to a specific part in a plastic bag...label it..and put it with the part, or tape it to the part...to keep it all organized.

    they key to it is patience...you will run into a few problems..so just take your time

    yea i think my olny problem is gonna be all the electrical

    electical isnt bad....the wires are color coded..its pretty much idiot proof

    i have to change out frames with my 450r pretty soon..never done such a project before..it will be interesting

    I had my 400ex tore down to only the frame with the motor out in about 7 hours, and that's with NO power tools..

    I did mine in about 2, with power tools,

    did any body have problem getting the swingarm bolt out, for me it was a b!tch

    if you had trouble, its probably bent. mine was bent so bad one time, i had to get the cutting torch out, impact hammers wouldnt touch it
