    Meanwhile, #55 Doug Gust was out front leading #4 Tim Farr, #6 Tavis Cain, #708 Harold Goodman, #19 Jason Dunkelberger, #8 Jason Luburgh, #32 Matt White, #191 Dustin Wimmer, and #2 Jeremiah Jones in 9th through a rhythm sections that had their quads emerging and disappearing behind the Jumps.

    Tim Farr made his move on Doug Gust and took over the lead with Doug Gust trying to power his way back past Farr down the straight away.

    Harold Goodman remained in 4th with Lason Luburgh 5th & Dustin Wimmer 6th both moving up through the pack and forming a train as they charged after the leaders.

    John Natalie Jr. also quickly became a spectator after his first turn crash, and he stood in the mechanics area rooting on his East Coast Teammate Dustin Wimmer!!!

    With Farr out front, this was the worst possible scenario for John Natalie's quest to finish 2nd Overall, and it was still early in the race.
