    Polaris Quads

How do they do in the sand, I am thinking about buying one. I ride 60% trails and 40% sand, I am looking into the 400 2-stroke, or the 500 4-stroke sport models.
    Thanks

rc3 the 400 2 stroke would be good in the sand or trails, the 500 sucks in the sand, i have seen this when i went to the dunes

Well if i had to choose between the two i would get the 400 2-stroke because with a few cheap mods these machines can rip.
The 500 is a shame , its got somewhere near 100ccs more than a 400ex yet it has the same amount of horse power.

I used to own a polaris sport 400 before my 400ex. I would have to say it would hold it's own against my 400 in a drag race. But that thing just flat out handled horrible and jumped bad. Also weighed about 460 dry. Plus it broke down pretty much every ride. Other than that though they don't run to bad.

Get the 400 2 stroke,,I had one with all the normal mods,,pipe, clutch kit, K&N filter an jet kit, better springs, etc,,and I garauntee it would hang with my 416,,it was a rocket ship,,I outran CR 125's with it..
