    case splitting ?!

    Hey guys whats the trick to seperating cases? i have all the bolts out but it doesnt seem to want to split can someone help !? please ?!

    make sure you have all the bolts out and hit the end of the crank with a rubber mallet,thats how i always do it

    have someone hold the whole bottom end up by the right case and while its suspended in the air tap on the crank with a rubber mallot. the weight of the other half should pull it appart easier when tapping on the crank.

    Like the other guys said, use a rubber mallet and tap while someone holds the case half. Also, make sure your counter balance is lined up in the opening or that will hold you back from separating.

    I use a motion pro case splitter , if you work on many motors it's well worth the money
