    Question Dynojet Question

I have removed the 17mm bolt on the bottom of my carb to replace the dynojet 146 with a dynojet 170 to run with the airbox lid off.
    My questions are:

    1. do you take the dynojet main jet adapter out to do this?
    or
    2. do you unscrew the dynojet and screw in a new one while the dynojet adapter is in the carb?

if question 1 is correct, what size socket removes the dynojet main?

if question 2 is correct, can you do this with the carb on the bike?

thanks for any help you can offer.

yes, you can change the main jet without removing the carb. Just loosen the clamps if needed and tilt the carb a little.
