Is there some kind of limiter in 4th gear on the trx 90?
when i was riding my little bros 90 on the beach it barely felt like the engine was working vary hard in 4th gear.

yes, it is a cdi limiter when removed will really make it run much faster in 4th gear

pappy
when that pink wire reaches the first white clip conector
the pink wire is then replaced with a white wire then at the next conection block it the turns yellow as it goes into the engine cases
so what does this wire do ?
what if i was to cut it at the other end?
thanks paul uk
from what i was told, the pink wire controls 4th gear top speed. i geuss its a type of rev limiter? i snipped mine about 2 inches from the cdi junction and have had no troubles and she pulls out in 4th gear now!

ill try it then as soon as the engine is fitted Im puting it into a kasea the engine is out of a crf 110cc with manaull clutch and electric start i had both bikes siting here and thought why not try some thing diffrent
I also noticed that they shared the same eletrics as the trx so hopfully engine mods will be the same
yep, we will be considering another engine for his this fall. we havent decided if we will just build this one or go with a clutch'd engine.
