Question compression when is to much

90cc skyhawk kasea 89cc how much compression could I look to push the engine but still keep it together. Is there ways to raise the compression higher but still keep it in the races. Running VP c12 currently. Is there a issue with to much compression.

    200lbs

All the East Side Motorsports guys out in AZ run their modded Kasea 90's at 200lbs compression. We have one with a 105 kit, fully ported and run their billet head w/ 200lbs compression. Thing seems to be bulletproof. eastsidems.com has a lot of parts for them too.

    Yes to the cylinder change.
We are running 160's in compression currently. Just nervous as can't afford to breakdown in a race out there but could use a little more punch.

No head gasket issues with the 200lbs. We have to stay under the 90cc so the 105 kit would not be what we are looking for.

175psi is safe.....200 and even more is possible if you are only racing and squish is properly set,and race fuel...if you trail ride any i wouldnt recommend anything higher than 175 it builds too much heat and you are prone to headgasket leaks...all things equal you cant even see the difference with your eye fron say 175 to 200,the 175 will have more top end.i'd look elsewhere for the punch...
