I would hope the 700 cc v-twin V force should WHOOP on the z400. The belt drive might slow the V down a little but overall I can't see why it wouldn't win unless there was some traction issue.

You gotta remember that the v force is over 100 lbs. heavier than the z400. I think the v would pull the z400 off the line by quite a few lengths then the z400 would be playing catch up. The v force is real fast off the line but hits a wall at higher speeds. I think the v force would hold on since it's only 1/8th mile.

I still thought that the V force was geared higher than a stock z400....you're 100% correct about the weight being a factor though.

stock vs. stock, top speed is close. Take-off the V-force will take the Z but the Z eventually catches up.

I just saw my cousin who has a stock z-400 race a stock v-force this past weekend. The v-force pulled the z off the line but the z passed him when he hit upper rpms in 4th gear but it was a close race.
