how good is the GYTR stuff?

one of my friends just got an 04 yfz, when he ordered it he also ordered the titanium head pipe and carbon fiber silencer. i was wondering how good this is and if it would have been better/cheaper for a sparks set up. the head pipe and jet kit hasnt came in yet but the c/f silencer does look good.

I would have went with the Sparks set-up.
I've been hearing about the c/f cracking as well. The silencer needs to be re-packed every 20 hours or it causes it to crack.

from what little i looked into it, it was, a full sparks system is about $500, i think this system was around $700 if not more.

I agree that their stuff is overpriced.

No chance your friend can't cancel the order? If not, just tell him to make sure he keeps re-packing it.

i dont think he can return it, and he really wanted the gytr stuff, well this will be an expensive lesson to him. i know after a few rides with it he will be changing over to a sparks. at least he is good at keeping his quads up.
