I would get the cannibal man...... They are fast on their own, but for serious racing I would get the moto or blaze 440 mapping for it, and hook the chassis up with some better shocks and arms down the line.... The bike is great, my friend used to have one that he raced MX with with the moto 440 mapping, Houser arms, and Elka shocks and that thing was scary fast!! Of course you would be setting it up for XC, but you definitely want a 4 stroke for the woods, and plus thats a space age motor!! Parts are readily available for them still contrary to what alot of people think, from ATK, or south bay moto and a few others, so dont worry about that.... DEFINITELY look into getting it re-mapped like I said though because it really does make it much much more aggressive since that is Cannondale's base model.

mapping is what you do for fuel injection. Just like you setup the carb, jetting, and ignition on a regular quad, on that, all the info is put in by computer....the power curve, all that. You pretty much "program" the motor. Im not sure how much it costs, Id have to ask my buddy but you can call up south bay moto and Im sure they can point you in the right direction. Mapping changes the entire characteristics of the motor. Check out cannondaleriders.com or one of the 'dale sites to see if anyone said anything about it in their foirums because I know its a very popular thing to do.....

i would go with the cannibal man. and like TC426ex said, get it remapped, some susp upgrades and you got yourself a sweet quad. 2 strokes just aint the best for the woods in my opinon but i think you'd like the cannible for the woods.

Cannondales and ATK's are awesome! I will never go back to 250R's. All I did to mine to set it up for XC is Elka shocks, Hiper wheels, Kenda tires, Tag bars and HMF exhaust. Blaze mapping is best for XC.
