    dune setup

I want to run straight paddles on my bone stock 400 EX. I'm new to the sand so I'd like some advice on gearing and how many paddles I can pull with the stock motor. Any help would be great!

Hello; I have Skat-Trak Haulers(20x10.00-8) with 8 paddles for the dunes. My motor is bone stock no mods to intake or exhaust. These things hook up great and the motor handles them good. Climbed the steepest hills in dumont not as fast as the banshees but made it. One guy on a 440 coulnd't belive i had these on mine (thought they were way to much) surprised him when i stayed with him through the dunes. My sprocket is stock also.

That guy with the 440 must have just had that Weisco Kit with the sleeve and the piston. THat kit doesn't do much good with out a Carb and a Cam. And a lil porting doesn't hurt either.
