In the carb of a 400ex there is a plastic piece that sits below the float. The piece slides out when you take the bowl off. Can anyone tell me what this is piece is for? Because I lost mine and I need to know what it does.

it is called a jet holder. i am not sure 100% what it is there for but i would go ahead and get a new one. it must be there for a reason. i realize that little part will be a good $5 probably...
