    what should i do

Okay people....what should i do with adding stuff to my quad.
    Option 1) motorwork
-crf titanium valves (i figure $100 max)
-sparks ignition kit lightweight flywheel improved CDI ($799)
    -sparks agressive cam ($216)
    -Sparks 12:1 piston ($200)
-Baldwin FCR 40 carbureator kit ($800)
    -Port and polish ($200 max)
i could work really hard this summer and get the above probably by winter

    Option 2) Chassis Stuff
    -JRD swinger ($625)
    -RPM loc-nut ($200)
    -RPM tapered carrier ($200)
-Gusset and powdercoat and bracing of frame (lot of time stripping stuff and about $500)
    -Hood ($150)
    -Powermadds ($50)
Could get the above pretty easily after summer.

I can only get one or the other and have to wait till next winter to get the other stuff.
    What should i do?

just do what you want to do,

if you are getting beat and want mroe power obviously go wtih option 1.

If you arent getting beat that bad and want to make it look better and make it go into corkers better or somthign thne get option 2.

my honest opion would be option 1,

    but thats just me!

I'd say frame gussiting, and powdercoating, then as much as you can get from option 1.

if i were you, i would combine the two lists, there are somethings on both of them that would be pointless, and would be better money spent on other parts.

    Combined List
    -sparks agressive cam ($216)
    -Sparks 12:1 piston ($200)
-Baldwin FCR 40 carbureator kit ($800)
    -Port and polish ($200 max)
    -JRD swinger ($625)
    -RPM tapered carrier ($200)

    Optional -Hood ($150)

i would not bother with getting the Ti valves, i have read on another R site that the crf guys switch to steel valves or something over the Ti vavles that come stock.
theres really no reason to get an ignition kit unless you are hitting your rev limited a lot, then you can just get a cheaper cdi that raises your rev limit.
the rpm locknut you are talking about im assuming is an anti fade, which from my experience is pretty pointless. my friend has one on his 400ex, and its always coming loose. he uses his stock lock nut on his 250r XC bike and has no problems at all.
there isnt any need to guesset the 450r frame, its strong enuff as is.
i would get the hood because with a bike as nice as yours, you need to get rid of that ugly head light.

i hope this helps you out some.
