Koontz Series "Pheasants Run" Race

Today marked another visit for this series to the facility at Pheasants Run. A good turn out combined with a few more miles of course spread out the field and the racing was great!


Pro/ A class was on the line first with 2 of my favorite riders from this series on the line. #170 Brent Sturdivant and #165 Brandon Sturdivant.

A 400 ex led the class to the first turn!

The 400ex rider knew he needed to get away from the 450's in the class and was gone in no time

Little did he know that the bulk of the 450's were tangled up right behind him!

Both Sturdivant boys were right in teh thick of it

Engine fired up, and almost dead last at the start, Brandon drops the hammer and heads to the woods!

Im not certain if this is Donnie Masters or not. Donnie and his racing buddy run almost the exact same set up and its hard to tell them apart

The next class out was Open B combined at the start with Vet and another C class

#320 and #305 made contact but didnt get tangled

This rider angrily throws sod that was all over his bars after a rollover
