    Question How are the cdale FX400s?

    What do you guys think of this quad?
    big gun slip-on
    K&N jet kit
    K&N air filter w/outerwares
    ac front bumper
    ac alloy nerfs
    renthal bars

    The old one? Needed work.....Canonndale fixed it, created the speed, canible, and a couple expensive ones. I give them credit, they don't deny their old fx400 had problems. I wouldn't reccommend buying an fx400, you can buy a new speed for the same price or get that canible for cheaper

    It would depend on the FX. I just bought a Speed and love it so far.

    If you get it, get it cheap and have all of the upgrades done to it. The factory would probably help. Ensure that you get the ecu1000 set up this allows for more adjustability on the computer. If it has the Olins shocks they are great. What to look for:
    1. If it has a red and Green start and stop button on the left handle bar it's the 500 ECO. if it's a slider close to the grip and a small green 1/4" or so start button it's the 1000 ECU.
    2. Olins shocks
    3. all recalls done to it to modify handeling

    Have fun it's way different. it revs like a 2-stroke and you may need to keep it a gear down from where you ride the 400 at.
