What exactly does ported and polished mean? Is it where the head pipe bolts onto the engine, does that get made bigger and stuff? I'm not totally sure on this topic, any help is welcome!

Ya, both the intake and exhaust ports get grinded until they are larger and smooth. So that increases air flow coming in and going out.

sp the ports that are being "ported" are the ones on the engine block that allows the exhaust to excape into the head pipes then out the silencer?
