I have heard the DS motors were designed for 6 gears, is this true?
If so where could one find one of those 6th gears, how much, and how big of a project would it be to install?
Any feedback would be apreciated..

The ds shares the same engine as the bmw f650gs streetbike . Both the quad and streetbike have 5 speed trannys

Yeah but could somone install the 6th gear in that tranny? This sounds really fishy to me but a mechanic at a local shop almost has me convinced that it can be done...
Anyone ever hear about this?
