Looking good! Your rear looks like it's too high in the air. Any way you can lower the rear and what is your length from the footpeg to the ground? May look that way because the front is still low due to the stock arms. Has he had a chance to ride it? Looks like that rear will be nice and cush now ;) .
how much did that rear frame support cost? the part that holds the axle and rear shock. Not sure what its called but my daughters is already broke at the weld. Two months of riding and she weighs 60 lbs.
Rob its like 8 inches to the bottom of the footpeg from the ground . When my son sits on it it sags out like 3" ......This bike has way more travel than before ....BIG DIFF....!!!!
we will be out at the track on friday ill lat you know how it dose.
Flip out .......are you taking about the swingarm or the sub frame?
I think it's more that your front still sits so low. Your rear seems to be about where ours is now. Maybe a 1/2 inch higher but like you said it'll come down some due to rider sag. I'm also confused on what Flipout was asking about (may be the swing arm).
swing arm. My daughters is already cracking at the weld towards the top. Im gonna have this welded again, but im def wanting to buy one of those new fab swing arms. How much. My daughter is tiny, im supprised the original is breaking.
It's because of the rear support being in the wrong place. Give Lew (ChassisInc) a call 503-318-1710. I ordered one and ours should be here next week. :D
Sand, get some vids of your boys upcoming race.
how much was it ? i sent them an email but never heard back ...thanks,mike
it turned out very nice.
what bracket did you use for the top of the rear shock
