Snow Shoe Rails to Trails Info Request - Philipsburg PA

Philipsburg/Kylertown PA area: Going to be riding our ATVs on the Snow Shoe
Rails to Trails, starting at the southern ("Black Bear") trailhead. I've
been at Cooney's Tavern on Rt 53 more than once when groups of ATV
riders came in there and I was told that the Rails2Trails went right by
there. But on the SSRTT map, the trail is a few miles to the East and
when I called Cooney's to ask about it, they didn't know anything about
ATV access.
Anyone there that's ridden on the trail that can tell me how to get over
to Cooney's? We're hoping to stop in and have lunch during our rides.
