2005 artic cat 400 4x4 ?

just bought a 2005 400 4x4 a month ago...after running for a bit motor gets hot .. the oil fan does not come on.. were do i need to look for the switch? it die on me the other day . i didnot hear the fan come on. after i got home it started back up.. what would cause this? thanks brian

the sensor is on the front of the engine you can try jumping it out to see it if the sensor or not

at the end of everything is was the STATOR.. 700 bucks and some cents . i thas been running since last OCT..
