Pic of LT, done 4 now
Hey guys, just thought i'd post a pic of all my hard work. When the head gasket went i decided the little rusty bugger needed a makeover, was going to powdercoat it but the kid just wanted to ride so we needed to get it back together for the nice weather.
So a wire wheel, lots of spaypaint and elbow grease i came out with this.

I even took a wire wheel to the motor, it came up awesome. Its running again, haven't really ridden it yet its really wet outside today. I am eager to see how jacks motor works on the track. Oh yeah and so is tyler. I want to widen it out, what would be better, dura blue spacers or JL extenders. decided not to modify the frame so you guys are the experts, what should i get?

JL on the front works well but lowers it an inch.
Durablue axel for the rear is best but spacers are OK till you snap the stock axel.
What gearing do you have with those monster truck tires that are on it?? :D :D :D

Team now makes a plus 3" axle for the LT/ KFX 80. It is lifetime warranty and $100.00 CHEAPER THAN DURA BLUE
find a dealer that uses Parts Unlimited for a distributor.
The PU part number for that Team axle is 0214-0061.
Here is a picture of the Team Axle next to the stocker

this is just my opinion, but you should look into putting some sort of heel guard on there. Those little feet don't stay on the pegs real good. We use the 16" snowhog tires, they lowered it and made it a little more stable. I had to raise the front sprocket gearing a bit.

He's right about the heel gaurds.
Nerfs are required for racing but are totally useless on a LT80.
After years of watching kids get their feet between the nerfs and the rear tire, I'd say that the stock set up protects very well.
I've never seen their feet slip foreward.
