If I remember right, the LT500 has a conventional shock (angled forward instead of backward like your Full-Floater), and the airbox is behind the shock, like on my 92 LT250. If so, the airboot wouldn't work for your 87 LT. Something for you to double-check if you haven't already. I put a 38mm carb on my LT, have to heat the boot in hot water to get it over the carb! Barely fits over mine, so don't think that would work for your 41.5mm.
Lookin good on the rebuild!

Sand blasted the brake pedal and got it ready to paint but just ran outta time tonight. Maybe tomorrow afternoon.
Should I powder coat the front A-arms black too, or just keep them silver? I know they are supposed to be white but that just ain't gonna happen.

I vote black. Makes the quad look dark n sinster.

Just placed another order with BikeBandit for miscellaneous hardware, 500 intake boot, and new rod bearing.
Really considering a custom made billet rod from Big Kev's Performance and a Honda 250r crank for +2mm more stroke. Any thoughts? Are Hotrod cranks any good?
