bump.. someone has to know how to change the oil in a 2003 vinson 500
Closest thing I have is a '06 Ozark. There is a drain plug on the bottom of the engine, hole in the skid plate to access the drain plug, if I remember right, it is a 17mm socket. The oil filter is a paper cartridge type, on the right side, bottom of the engine. It has three 8mm bolts to take out and the oil filter is behind it. I know this isn't for your quad, but maybe it can get you looking in the right places.
