all 3 looks like chit to me :ermm:
The 700 only seems ugly because it's different than what you're used to seeing with sport quads. But tell me this...How many racers don't shave the front plastics? Personally...I kind of like the look of it...It's the front bumper I don't like.
I love the look of the 400 now...Makes it look aggressive with the pointy edges. :macho
If you don't like Big Red...then **** you!
Finally thought of what I was thinking it looked like...Quote:

THE BATMOBILE...DUN DUN DUN...
honestly im dissapointed. i def. like hondas but you wont catch me buyin any new ones, thats for sure. they should have gone back to the good old "frog" eyes on the 400, i think that looks alot better, but thats just me.
lets see im a bit torn about the 700 its hideous in the pic but its gotta be one of those quads that look better in person i guess it could be alright lookin if you got the all black one and offed those front fenders and put an aluminum bumper on and i cant even guess on its performance now anyway all in all i would not trade my kaw. for it, secondly the 400ex- im kinda liking the plastic but i really wish honda would quit screwing around i liked the old "duck" looking plastic the best (i do like the newer rear fenders more though) but anyway wheres the class leading suspension and motor honda......well were waiting? if im gonna pay $6000 for a 400 it better be the best of the best, lastly the big red..what happened to that cool red wing thing i saw as a concept not long ago how did that trancent from red wing thing to a red mule with honda stickers on it id still rather have a teryx or rzr (maybe even a honda hippo too:D )
just my thoughts
I agree with most everyone that says they are dissapointed. I have absolutly no clue what honda was thinking for 2008 with there atvs. Sad to say honda is gonna loose alot of business next year. I love all hondas atvs 2005 and older. everything newer blows. the only exception is the 06/07 400ex and the 07/08 300ex.
I know for me ill be selling my 450r for a ktm or cam am 450 come spring time. And my 01 400ex isnt going anywhere cause it rules and actually looks good.
What were you thinking honda?????????
that 400ex looks like a yfz and 450r mixed, glad they didn't do that crap to the 450r!!!
sad things is that there gonna compare the outlaw 525irs to the 700 and its gonna win just because its a honda.....I would bet the title to my quad saying that they say that
700 is not in same class as the outlaw, because of 100lb heaver ..more like the Renegade but a lot slower.....
I don't care for the looks of the new 700, but with different front fenders and heel guards, it'll look like most other quads. It looks like it will be kick *** in gnnc, have many of you even ridden an Outlaw in the woods? They are heavy buy very fast over rough terrain, faster than a solid axle. It's not an MX machine, so what.
I think IRS is the future of XC/GNNC quads.
Like another poster said before. Look at older posts when the 450R came out, everyone hated it, and I'm sure the DS and KFX450R's are well liked by their owners. Looks aint everything, but it you want looks, go buy a 250R.
And the 400EX, well that just makes getting a Z400 a no brainer.
Honda builds quality, I wouldn't knock it on looks, if I was looking an open class XC racer/aggressive woods rider.
