there not mounted need some of yaws opps on how to mount them
if someone can help me mount them on there ill tell you how they do on a track
Get a small bungee strap to run under the tube and hook each end on the frame. Or install the stock air box back on it and notch the front of the box so that it holds the tube up, plus keep water and mud from plastering the bottom of your pre-filter. May have to shorten the tube a bit.
ive done the bungie strap but it bounces alot so im gona need somthing that will hold it tight ive got a shop so anything i can do it i can send you the pic. and you could (paint) somthing on it and put it on here
I just rode with mine on yesterday for the first time, i had to mod the airbox a lil to make it fit, i used a small bungie that with the seat hold it perfect. I have to just get it jetted right now i am goin to try a 47.5p with a 165mj, and go from there. I had a 175mj and a 50p in there yesterday and it bogged real bad once i got the mid 3rd.
was a big diff want if
heres a mounting system use big U bolts where the dots are
wow that looks nice! i know a guy on the predatorowners.com website took a Tidy Cats liter box, cut it so it would fit with the filter, and then painted it flat black! sounds goofy but it worked, and if you mess up its cheap to just buy another one! trying doing that mabey.
nicktrx400ex, in terms of performance, which do you prefer; the shorter or longer intake?
the longer the more lowend with a good amount of mid range but the shorter you have more speed and pull trhough the top end but i like the shorter one just for more gear in first but i cant do wheelies as good though.
