2005 GNCC Round #4 "Steele Creek" Morning ATV Race Coverage

C Class 29-34


Mr Cardio Stack Jason Bougher was looking sharp before the start. Jason improved his finish over the last round and took home the 5th position at Steele Creek!

Jason gives a tug on his roll-offs and checks out his machine in an open section of track.

Alan Copeland aka "GUMP" rode to the 9th spot in his class.

First Year Racer 16-24

Richard Edwards provided me with the best shot of the morning as he hammers across the creek section. Richard finished 6th in his class, quite an improvement over his 38th place at the General!

An unidentified rider sends up a roll of murky Steele Creek water as he emerges from under the bridge!

That wraps up our AM coverage. I hope everyone made it home safe with the severe weather that settled in the area.

Good Job Harlen. I think you might need to invest in a case of Lock-tite. Good luck in S.C. it will come around for you. Have you ever thought you might just have too many irons in the fire at once.:D

Once again, I lost my chance for the podium in the last lap. When my sprocket fell off, I heard a loud bang and the chain bound up on the front sprocket, so I knew I was done. Traci Cecco was right behind me, so I jumped off my quad and pushed her backwards until she had a clean line to get around. Meanwhile, Billy Good had caught back up and chased after Traci as they both took off together chasing after the leaders in their class.
