Open A
Jeffrey Pickens finished 2nd the last race, and is currently 5th in the class.
Four Stroke Tech's Mike Benson decided to keep his Z in the trailer this weekend, and help out the rest of his team with the muddy conditions.
Marcus Gonzalez decided that he was going to race Open A this week, but you never now what class you will see him in at the next race. Utility, Stock, A, etc....
Open A Start had the two Josh's out front!
Marcus was slow to get his 450R started, but once he got it started, he meant business. It is a common sight to see one 450R in everyone row come flying around the turn 10 seconds after the race of the class passes by because of the kick starter.
Tim Lenig was flipped heading into turn one, but he was ok. He gathered his thoughts and remounted his Cannondale and took off after the pack.
After the 1st lap, Bryan Baker was back in 13th, but he used his Vforces power move up and take over the lead and win the Open A Class!
Tim Lenig decided to practice his "Nac Nac" freestyle trick while heading through the woods or was he just getting off to push
Regardless, he was definately on the gas. He worked his way from 28th to 9th place after one lap, and he continued his charge all the way up to 3rd with the fastest Open A last lap time.
Great Job Tim!!! Maybe next time you can keep it rubber side down on the start instead of trying a backflip and win.
Eric Davis has been extremely consistent this year since a poor race in Texas, and he is currently in 2nd Place in the Open A Class. He roosted his way to a 6th place finish at Sparta.
