One rider was injured, I believe his wrist or shoulder, when he took a bad bounce landing one of the bigger jumps. I have the whole sequence, unfortunatley I didnt have the right camera in my hand:p

His wreck set up another wreck but I dont believe any riders were injured, or I wasn't informed of such.

Seeing the injured rider get up and walk to assistance is always a good sign, and we all hope he recovers and heals quickly and with as little pain as possible!

With 27 entries in the class, a heat race had to be run, leaving only those ready to get the job done on the line.
When moto 1 fired off, everyone knew it would be a great race!

Richard Pelchat was flying in his heat race, however he was doing so by the seat of his pants as his seat was MIA!

Pilotte is a fun racer to watch, and I have a feeling if he can get his stamina up just a tad....he will be giving Haavisto all he can handle!
