Luke Olberding over came this situation and went on to take 2nd in the Stock class.
The morning racers finished up their last lap or waited to be towed back in so the afternoon race could get started.
As the afternoon race was about to get started my Daughter gave her Dad some words of wisdom. She said " Just be prepared to get stuck over and over and over."
24 racers entered in the A class with Bob Ziebell taking first place.
#74 Mike Flohr in the +30 class hauling here but would smoke his clutches on the first lap.
We got some flipping action when the B class left the line with 37 racers.
It's hard enough trying to recognize racers at the beginning of the season with all the new riding gear and or different quads but about impossible in the mud.
Even with the sun shining for the afternoon it wasn't doing much to dry up the water soaked course.
Many racers were lucky they had someone with a power washer hosing the quads down when the race was over.
